PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE: The City of Menan, Idaho, hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held as follows: Date: August 8, 2024 Time: 7:00 PM Location: Menan City Office, 664 North 3535 East, Menan, Idaho 83434 Subject: Application for a 36 Lot Subdivision by Ensign Homes The purpose of this hearing is to take public comment on an application submitted by Ensign Homes for the development of a 36-lot subdivision. The proposed subdivision will encompass approximately 24 acres located on the west side of N 3500 E, from approximately 600 through 700 North. The Menan City Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Thursday, June 27, 2024. At that meeting, the Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of the preliminary plat application. The application will now be considered by the Menan City Council for final decision. All interested people are invited to attend the hearing and present their views. Written comments may also be submitted prior to the hearing. Notice Date: July 24, 2024 By Order of the Menan City Council NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: The Menan City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 7:00 pm in the Menan City Council Chambers for the purpose of discussing the proposal of a dedicated Temporary Street & Roads Property Tax Levy that would raise the Property Tax Levy within the City of Menan for the space of 2 years. This proposed Temporary Tax Levy would be placed on the ballot and voted on in the November 5, 2024 election.
